How does the Practice feature work?
The Practice Mode turns your stories into real interview rehearsals. You'll record yourself answering simulated questions, then BTN's AI evaluates your response across five key dimensions: Clarity, Conciseness, Confidence, STAR Structure, and Alignment.
You'll receive a performance score, tailored feedback, and targeted tips to refine your delivery, all within seconds.

Are my recordings stored?
No. Your voice recordings are analyzed in real time and deleted immediately afterward. BTN never stores or reuses voice data.
Can I practice without recording?
Yes. You can still review your STAR story, see key highlights, and use BTN's guidance to refine your structure and tone before recording.
Data & Security
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. BTN does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. You can review full details in the Privacy Policy.
How is AI used?
BTN uses OpenAI's GPT models to analyze your resume, generate STAR stories, and deliver feedback. Your data is processed securely and only used to enhance your experience.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support.

Which browsers are supported?
BTN works best on Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox (latest versions). For best results with audio features, we recommend Chrome.
My microphone isn't working. What should I do?
Make sure BTN has microphone access in your browser settings. Close other apps using your mic, refresh the page, and retry. Still stuck? Try another browser or device.
Can I use BTN on mobile?
Yes, BTN is mobile-friendly for browsing and reviewing stories. However, audio recording and full editing tools work best on desktop.
